Jan Klempíř, M.Arch.

(*1976, Prague)


  • Authorized architect of the Czech Chamber of Architects. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at CTU in Prague and the Department of Scenography at the AMU Theatre Faculty in Prague. He also studied architecture and urban planning at TUT Tampere in Finland.

He collaborated with Bílek Associates studio and the Mimolimit studio (B.Škorpilová, J.Nedvěd), worked at the Central Bohemian Institute for the Protection and Conservation of Monuments and Sites, then founded Atelier.. (two dots) together with Kryštof Štulc. Since 2007 he has been working as an independent architect.

He won the Hlávka Foundation award for his project of a railway museum. A House on the Square in Nýřany (together with K. Štulc) was nominated for the Old Prague Society Award for New Architecture in a Historical Environment. The exhibition 100 Years 100 Items 100 Stories (together with the curator J.Jareš and graphic artist J.Šerých) received the Miloslav Petrusek Award of Charles University.
